Thursday, January 1, 2015 - Nose of leather , saddle, smoked meat, and some brett which some may call funky but I like it in this mix. The game meat continues on the palate with black olives, stable, leather, licorice, black fruit, pepper and mineral notes. Medium bodied, elegant, and drinking very well now (?peak) but still some tannins to possibly transform the wine further in cellar.
