Thursday, April 30, 2009 - I agree with COS82 about the off-aroma. Very strange, dank nose almost like it's corked even though it isn't. I was also thinking it could have been cooked as I bought it at retail the same month, but the acidity was fine. The strange aroma mostly blew off after a long decant and there's a very fleshy if not somewhat imprecise Wehlen underneath. Very concentrated with good slate minerality. Perhaps a bad time to drink this one.
