Wednesday, July 8, 2015 - Medium garnet, classic aromas of wild berry and forest. Gorgeous mélange of red berries, spices, some oak influence, and good structure, leaving with complexity, balance and length. Interestingly, drank side-by-side with a 2012 Denner Ditch Digger (Paso) GSMC blend, which we loved as well. Like this one a bit better, as it has a bit more complexity of flavors, some Old World terroir structure, and a more muted, but rich, fruit profile. Delicious also.
