Wednesday, July 29, 2015 - Everything a Barbera is supposed to be, at a great price point. Plum/dark garnet in color. Dried fruit on the nose. Nice dry tannic backbone gives way to light-medium body with cherries and fruit. Tannins and alcohol linger on the finish and may mellow with a few more years, but nice compliment for rich Italian dishes.
