Sunday, December 23, 2012 - Big wine, got better as the evening progressed. Decanted and then drank over several hours. Very dark color. Initial impressions were of a closed wine, with lots of dark fruit, hints of forest floor, and lots of oak and tannins. After the wine warmed and aerated, it was very smooth, with black fruits, tobacco, and cedar. Big and intense wine, but very enjoyable.
