Thursday, June 11, 2015 - Fabulous nose, just amazing.
Smoky minerals and flint, sea breeze, gunpowder, oak with vanilla spice, popcorn and melted butter and a touch of rubber.
Very expressive, flirty and big.
Palate is dominated by sweet ripe lemons, butter, lemon drops.
Very balanced, perfect acidity and sweetness, ripe, long finish and complex.
My blind guess was Meursault from Ente, and it of course, was just exactly that :-).
Tell-tale and very typical for this fabulous producer.
Overachieving for a village wine.
