Sunday, June 21, 2015 - Note from memory. Good persistence and beautifully balanced. Delicately perfumed though a bit simple at the moment with typical aromas of sweet strawberry, copper penny and a touch of cured meat. Light tannin, medium acid and a good midpalate and finish. Clean and pure. Elegant for a Nuits St. Georges. This should age very nicely. Try again in 5 years? Consumed with an excellent kaiseki meal at Ryokan Yasui in Hikone.
