Saturday, October 17, 2015 - A great showing of this wine with a big Pauillac nose turning horsey and farmy but with solid red fruit and good tannin on the palate. Bold red and black cherry, some currant, leather, and notes of spicy tobacco. Red cedar note is spot-on. A way better bottle than an '88 Lalande enjoyed about a month ago.
