Likes this wine:

Friday, March 6, 2015 - I needed a wine with some zingy fruit to balance a very earthy meal and this hit the spot. There is upfront young red fruit with a hint of blue on the finish. I get lots of tart cranberry with lively acidity and a great mineral undercurrent. My wife said, "SO Anderson Valley." I agree; I always find an intriguing dustiness on AV wines and this one has plenty to balance this pure fruit. There is a fun but of Indian spice on the finish. It will be hard to stay out of these but it should be a stunner in 5 or 6 years.
