Monday, December 8, 2014 - Open from the get go. Bright, sweet, creamy aromas of violets, morello cherries, lavender, bandaid, crushed rocks, spice and vanilla. Highly perfumed. Medium bodied on the palate, no heat despite the 14% alcohol, harmonious, fresh, some brett, very fluid, nothing sticks out, tannin and acid are present but well integrated, very easy to drink. Good, modern, polished, soft and friendly. There was some confusion as to whether or not it was from California. Woody tannins were showing on day two.
