Sunday, April 19, 2015 - At first, this was less complex on the palate after enjoying a Beckstoffer Cab, but this 2012 REALLY opened up with some air and began to display explosive, dark, ripe fruit. Black cherry, berries, cassis, with subtle anise/ licorice notes. This is an outstanding Napa Valley Cabernet, the best Larkmead vintage yet for me! All l can say is 93+points for now, great stuff!
