96 Points

Saturday, December 2, 2006 - Decanted for 3 hours. Color of garnet ink. Fabulous fragrant nose- graphite, vanilla, black currant, tobacco and toasted oak (did not detect any licorice). On the palate ripe sweet black cherry, plum, blackberry. Abundant tongue coating tannins that are in harmony with the lush fruit. The finish is great. Of the 2003 Bordeaux's I've tried so far this is in a class by itself. 96+
