Wednesday, January 1, 2014 - 2 bottles with similar notes. Surprisingly advanced -- significant bricking bordering on orange throughout, secondaries in nose (lots of pan d'epices, orange peel). Some nice residual sweetness, prominent acidity, a bit of iodine, still a bit of unresolved tannins. If it weren't for similar tasting notes on CT and two intact corks, I'd think that the bottle was slightly oxidized. That said, very nice drinking now. This won't improve further -- drink now. (For comparison see note on same wine in 2005 had the same time -- huge difference.)
