Sunday, May 31, 2015 - From 75cl, perfect cork. Decanted 1 hour. This isn't a lot of fun right now. Closed, surly, tannic, hot etc, as noted by many other tasters. Looking back at my GPL TNs, I see I had an equally inexpressive bottle of the (now magnificent) 1995 12 years after the vintage. Although I don't think this vintage will scale quite the same heights, I'm sure that this is not the time to be opening the 2003, and will keep the rest of my case for 4-5 years before trying again. It may turn out to be disappointing then, but it seems pretty much guaranteed to be disappointing now... Sell now, or hold until 2019-20. NR
