Wednesday, May 6, 2015 - Sadly, yet another Parker-overrated wine. Very hot on the nose and mouth, with only a moderate amount of fruit and unremarkably structure. Just another sadly over-extracted wine with a bad medicinal edge. No point in wasting the $22 on this one.

5/8/2015 9:53:00 AM - Hardin is a stellar one for the price, but it's 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. That's why you got a lot going on. The Textbook is 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Merlot. I think the heat will die down and fruit will integrate. I'm finding a lot of these 2012 Napa/Sonomas are not drinking very well right now. Hope it gets better but time will tell.
