Friday, June 19, 2015 - First bottle tasted. Decanted for only an hour. Textbook Pauillac. Lots of dark fruit. Has a few more years.

May you define 'few'? :-) I was thinking on 2023 for my only bottle, what do you think?
    Cheers!

6/26/2015 1:45:00 PM - Considering that 2003 was a very hot vintage, I would say at the latest drink in 2020. I will try again in 2 years, but I think it would be best in 3-5.

    6/28/2015 4:01:00 PM - Hi again Timothy,
Yep, it was almost a heat record in Bordeaux. In spite of that nowadays only a few can feel them truly hottie.
Surely you're right but in my modest view Lynch Bages is at its best when twenty years old. I'll inform you on next 2022 :-)
    Cheers!
