Saturday, July 4, 2015 - Jason Drew makes consistently delicious and high quality Pinot Noir. Every now and then he happens to hit it out of the park. This bottle was more beautiful than the fireworks on the 4th. Lovely dark berry and black plum delivered in a seamless, mouth filling delivery. The fruit is fresh, ripe without any hint of over extraction. The purity and quality of the fruit coupled with such a palate pleasing texture was remarkable. Enough structure to stand on its own or coupled with food. Delicious effort and outstanding drinking experience.

This isn't just a one dimensional fruit forward wine in its youth. Plenty of structure and nuance- the spice notes interact well with the fruit, and when further integrated it may reward patience even more. I've got one left to test that theory as well!! Cheers.
