Saturday, February 28, 2015 - Opened 02/27, drank 1/3, recorked. Reopened 02/28 and finished off. Stellar wine, just glorious. Needed air to really strut its stuff. Initially it was more fruit and less savory, funky Syrah. With air the umami elements came out, with mineral and dark floral tones. The fruit was marvelous, a balanced attack of black raspberry and blueberry. Subtle oak, a hint here or there, but never overbearing. It'll be hard not to drink the rest of my bottles.
