Wednesday, March 4, 2015 - Decanted ~1 hr. Medium-medium ruby with crimson, very slow moving legs @13.9% abv. Medium aromas of barnyard, ash, burnt coffee, no fruit. Dry, medium(+) acidity, low tannin, medium(+) alcohol and medium body. Medium-medium(+) flavors of cherries, cherry flavored travel lozenges, raspbery jam, and savory notes. Leathery texture, balanced. Good length with frut-driven finish which feature sweetness of fruit sugars. Remarkable disconnect between nose and palate.
