Wednesday, May 14, 2014 - Wow. I really liked this wine. While it doesn't match the other Betz wines' sense of character and complexity, it has a ton of style for the price. Juice, with very bright black cherry and plum fruit on the front palate with a syrah-driven meaty, earthiness in the mid-palate. Terrific and unusually nice acidity and structure for a Washington wine at this price. I like the unobtrusiveness of the oak as well. A perfect dinner companion!
