Monday, April 27, 2015 - After a week in France and lots of Bordeaux, it's difficult to transition to this particular Barolo. Light cherry red in color, some fruit on the nose. Relatively short, somewhat bitter finish with lots of tannin. Hopefully the tannins will smooth out with a bit more aging. I was suggesting an 85, but compromised at 87 because "the spousal unit" was pushing for an 88.
