Tuesday, June 16, 2015 - Dusky amber colour with a ton of sediment. Nose is classic Ch. Musar high toned nail varnish remover and black and red sour cherry then this deep obelisk blackness that takes you down Alice's rabbit hole rather like a Palacios Priorat does. Palate is super fresh acidity on entry then signature sour cherry but on steroids. Gorgeous farmyardy mid-palate that segues into a light high piano note played in a cathedral and which never ends. An absolutely perfect bottle that would have been even better with my normal 8-hour decant for old Musar.
