Wednesday, May 6, 2015 - Ordered of the list at Hannah's, Mike and I decided to go "big" and I figured this would fit the bill. Definitely a concentrated big style wine but I was surprised at the balance and no sticky or residual sugar. Very dark purple color. Blackberry and smoky aromas. Flavor is driven by the same blackberry, toasted oak, and bramble. Medium plus finish. Slight warming mouthfeel but no overt alcohol notes.
