Tuesday, January 17, 2006 - Tasted blind in a flight of new release California syrahs. Lightest color of the group; red berries on the nose, and very "pretty." Nice fruit, and well balanced. It was a shame to throw it in with a group of young, brash syrahs. Unlike my last bottle of this wine, I did not pick up any brett and the tannins were fairly evident.
