Friday, November 21, 2014 - This blend of 85% Carmenere and 15% Syrah is a tasty wine best consumed with food. It has an herbal and earth character with fresh black cherry on the palate.These aromas and flavors combined with good natural acidity helps it complement many dishes. Dark rich garnet color. Pleasant aroma with dusty earthy notes. Medium tannins, with nice fruit coming through. Pairs well with grilled meats. This wine requires something rich to stand up to the tannins. The Natura Emiliana Carménère represents a good value for an everyday value wine.
