Saturday, January 30, 2016 - Union Des Grands Crus de Bordeaux San Francisco. Nose of black cherry fruit, some red berry fruit, cassis and dusty earth, more of the same on the palate, fabulous to taste, lovely and rich, comments overheard by others were similar to my tasting notes, medium/big body, not bitter, touch of soft tannins, almost elegant, my red wine of the night, long, long finish. $33-a buy.
