NOSE: expressive and intense; dark chocolate; anise; molasses; chocolate powder; toasted and candied pecans and hazelnuts.

BODY: foamy dark tan head; black color of great depth; medium-full to full bodied.

TASTE: bitter/sweet with flavors of molasses, bitter chocolate, and bitter coffee on the rear palate; 13.9% alc. well-hidden; this is excellent; warming in the belly; sweet and bitter --- perhaps a touch more bitter than it is sweet. As a BBAS: 9.0/10
