Friday, February 6, 2015 - Tasting in Châteauneuf-du-Pape; 2/5/2015-2/7/2015 (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhône, France): Dense nose with heavy spice, smoke, white pepper, lots of red & black fruit, and a touch of green pepper. Fresh and fleshy, with forward red raspberry fruit and a nice spice box. Fine, stemmy tannins and good balanced acidity on the finish.
