93 Points

Friday, February 5, 2010 - Popped and poured. Complex nose of forest floor, cherries, with a definite herbal note. On the palate, wonderful fruit but a very unusually complex palate reflecting the nose with great depth - much more forest floor and herbs than fruity, although it has very significant depth. Much better integrated and less "clumsy" than some vintages of Savoy I've had previously. In the context of other Littorai bottlings this is on the more intense side. This could develop additional complexity but is drinking very well.
