Monday, June 29, 2015 - Bright nose of Gala apple, grapefruit, rose water, lychee, honey, steel, and even the faintest hint of petrol. The palate was all peach, green apple, cantaloupe and honey, with a subtle minerality. It was tart at first, but on the second day, it became incredible rich, smooth and a bit sweet. On the first day, it seemed more like a quality Sauvignon Blanc with a bit of Riesling, but by the second night, it was clearly a fruit forward Viognier.
