Thursday, January 1, 2015 - A private lunch (Restaurant Yamazato *, Amsterdam, NL): Fragrant, lifted nose, sweet strawberries, lactic touch, flowers, dried spices, good depth, nutty warmth, mineral freshness; the palate displays lovely tension between mineral freshness and sweet fruit, light weight, elegant, just a hint of tannin; relatively dry finish, hint of tea, good length.
