Sunday, May 10, 2015 - Mother's Day wine. opened for two hours , re-corked and took to restaurant (John Howie Steakhouse). It was decanted at the restaurant and consumed over the next 2 1/2 hours.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, blueberry, black currant (cassis) and red currant. It tastes like red currant, black currant (cassis), blueberry, forest floor and black olive. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
