Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 15.0% alcohol. Deep red color. Fragrant nose of blue and black fruit, flowers, pepper, earth, and a touch of iron. In the mouth, a plump wine that isn't flabby. Plenty of big blue fruit, pepper, spice, and earth, along with that blood note. Excellent natural acidity. Long finish that flexes some tannic strength. Very nice drink here. A-
