Monday, April 6, 2015 - Greeted with a surprisingly big floral and pepper nose, a bit like lavender and jalapeños, with some stony minerals in the mix. Tasted like blackberry, cherry, lavender, black olive, black pepper, sage, smoked salmon, and copious amounts of garrigue. Quite tannic, but not unpleasantly so. If you like this kind of fruity and savoury Rhone, it's glorious.
