Wednesday, May 13, 2015 - This bottle was given about 3 hours of air prior to serving. Once we poured the first glass it was clear that it was open for business. Ripe pineapple was the calling card, and it was accompanied by other tropical fruit elements, a bit of smoke, some honey and a bracing finish. Every sip was fantastic. This is a classic Mosel Auslese from a classic vintage that is in the prime of its life. Drink now and over the next 20 years.
