Sunday, November 8, 2015 - Popped and poured, consumed over 4 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, cranberry, cherry, underbrush, pine sap, and baking spice - really interesting. Palate: Medium bodied, cranberry and spice attack, great balance, spice and earth tones join in to drive a mid-palate lift, flavors build in intensity through the back-end. Finish: Lengthy sense of tart dark red fruit and baking spice. A great example of the potential presented by the 2012 vintage in Willamette.
