Friday, August 8, 2014 - I was previously unaware of Signatures du Sud but this, like a recent Faugères, is excellent of its kind. Typically deep colour for the region and an expressive nose full Mediterranean herbs and red fruit in the background. The quite full palate was both lively and complex with symphony of herbs to the fore with noticeable liquorice notes and a firm but caressing structure.
