Thursday, April 16, 2015 - Tasted this for the first time at a wine dinner at Dante's in Omaha, where it stood out as paired with wonderful food. Upon second tasting at home, it started with a whiff of yeast that cleared to reveal some fruit with a rustic background. Full in the mouth with the fruit receding quicker than I would have liked. Good solid finish. Needs food (rustic), and would do better as a starter wine because, tonight, by the third glass, I feel that I've explored the wine and I'm ready to move on. I'll try another bottle in a few months, but based on tonight's bottle, I'd drink now to 2017.
