Sunday, January 31, 2016 - Clear, bright, medium ruby, with a hint of garnet on the rim. The nose is clean, medium (+) in intensity, with strawberry, red flowers, vanilla. The palate is dry, with medium alcohol (13%) and medium tannins, minerality and medium to medium (+) acidity. The palate is medium in intensity, consistent with the nose and also showing ripe red cherry and grapefruit on the finish. Everything about this medium-bodied wine is very balanced. This is a very approachable and enjoyable wine, good by itself or with food. Very good QPR. Drink now through 2017.
