Sunday, March 9, 2014 - Excellent bottle. No resemblance to the flawed bottle of 3/2/14 (which the winery replaced immediately). I am usually averse to this level of alcohol (13.8%) but this wine pushes the ripeness to the edge without going over the line. Beautiful BALANCE. Reminded me of drinking '03 Chave and '03 SQN Papa side by side several years ago. Just so much going on, especially the aromas. Lots of black pepper on the finish.
