The nose is creamy, yeasty, citrus, earth, minerals, and nuts. Healthy and strong upon entry. Great little super active bubbles. All kinds of red fruit, especially cherry, but also some lighter colored fruits, especially apricot and orange rind, with lemon and other citrus. Some of those non fruit, supporting flavors like nutmeg, caramel, brown spice. There are layers that produce different flavors as this wine crosses the palate. This one is not especially crisp, but more bodied, and lingering.
