Friday, March 21, 2014 - PnP. Soft, crumbling cork 3/4 soaked. Nice, surprisingly young garnet color with slight browning at the rim. Sous bois, cedar, dark fruit, leather. To my surprise, the fine to medium tannins are not yet fully resolved. Short to medium finish. Holds up well over 4h.
A very nice surprise. Drinks much younger and with a longer future ahead than the 1982 Lascombes a few weeks ago. Looking at the other tasting notes, I guess I was lucky with this bottle. 89-90
