Monday, November 17, 2014 - This is my second wine from this young négociant firm and it bolsters my feeling that it is a trustworthy source. The medium plus bodied and well focussed palate shows a lot fresh dark fruit with a metallic tang and lively acidity on entry and finishes with a liquor and liquorice tinged tannic bitterness which at first was attractive but became tiring. However selected cheeses made this bitterness recede and improved balance. Already nice drinking, I think that a little age should smooth the angles and improve complexity. Good.
