Thursday, January 8, 2015 - Medium golden color with a slight greenish tinge; appealing, apple-scented nose. Medium-bodied, a bit of oak immediately asserts itself on the palate; I don't consider this to be over-oaked, but some might. At any rate, while not overly fruity, there are definite apple and peach flavors present. Medium finish with a fine degree of acidity. Nicely balanced, and will age for a few years, with possible improvement, once the oak softens a bit. A good choice for those who like their Chardonnay dry and oaky - like I do. This is really a nice effort, and better than many more expensive wines. Recommend.
