Thursday, November 15, 2012 - Remarkable for a 30-year old, inexpensive Bordeaux that I bought upon release 28 years ago. Still young looking (very clear, beautiful purple, no bricking), still somewhat tannic. (A testament to the 1982 vintage and my passively controlled cellar.) Nose of dark fruit. Tar and licorice in the mouth, which would not be to everyone's liking, but I liked it. Chewy mouth feel. Decent finish. Consumed with aged filets. Still have a few bottles left, which I look forward to sharing with others.
