Friday, January 30, 2015 - Pale red ruby colored. Initial aromas of sweet red fruit, red licorice, tea and with some light savory-ness. Lighter intensity and elegant in the mouth, light-to-medium bodied. Cherry juice, raspberries, and red tea show most strongly. Tannins are barely showing and come in very late, the acid provides lift and freshness to the fruit and helps carry the finish, which is considerable considering the intensity throughout. This is killer wine, I really like it, would and will happily buy again.
