Saturday, May 2, 2015 - WSET Level 4 Course - WSET School; 9/6/2014-5/23/2015 (WSET School, Bermondsey): Appearance: The wine is Clear with a Pale lemon colour. It has slight pêtillance
Nose: The nose is Clean and Youthful, showing Pronounced intensity primary aromas of lemon, gooseberry, elderflower, grass.
Palate: The wine is Dry in the mouth with a High level of acidity. It has a Medium(+) Level of alcohol (13.50%). It has Medium body and Pronounced intensity primary flavours of gooseberry, lemon, elderflower, grass. The finish is Medium(+). It has refreshing acidity with fresh fruit flavours
Overall: The acidity is high and refreshing and well integrated. Good length finish but could be longer. Good typicity for Sauvignon Blanc.
Conclusion: It is a Very Good quality wine. Drink Now; not suitable for Ageing or Further Ageing Fresh fruit will dissappear with ageing. This does nothave the structural components to improve with ageing.; Premium priced (£22.25)
