Likes this wine:

Thursday, April 30, 2015 - The wine was allowed to breath for 30 minutes in the glasses, then followed for additional 90 minutes. Good potential but seems too young at present. This should be great in 3-4 years.
Good minerality, gentle citrus and white flower notes, some peach. Bubbles, lots of bubbles.

Just curious: did you buy this in London?

A touch of fizz is not too uncommon in Rieslings we drink often, but this seems to be at the far end of the spectrum I've witnessed. I'm almost tempted to try again in champagne glasses.... but I think I will hold this. Got it from a UK-based merchant.

4/30/2015 11:30:00 PM - Thanks for your reply. My surprise was due to the fact that previous vintages of this I have tried were all but fizzy. This one I tried once at the winery and I don't think it had any bubbles. Anyway...
Interesting that Chasselas from Canton Vaud gets exported. This one was certainly helped by a mention by David Schildknecht in a "Best of year" article a couple of years ago, and a couple more articles.
And of course by the fact that it's very good!
