Saturday, December 26, 2015 - Tasted only a day or so after the 2002, this was somewhat in its shadow. Yes it expresses all the virtues I've said before - expansive mouthfeel and a lovely fresh fruitiness, lively mousse and fantastic freshness.

Don't get me wrong, a lovely Champagne, and I'm glad I've still got a couple for the years to come. But under the circumstances, the 2002 for me is a cut above at the moment.
