Tuesday, November 4, 2014 - Very light in color but big in flavor. Unexpectedly savory, mineral nose... seems like lees influence. It's all concrete egg fermented but I'm not sure how long it sits on the lees. Fruit forward in the mouth, with ripe pear, tropical fruit and grated ginger. Surprising palate weight and density and some residual sugar but with decent acidity to balance. Fascinating wine that defied my expectations.
